I think I'm gonna go with the sound effects version but I'll need to get more voice recording from Hugh, I love his little bird voice! And I'll probably look into changing the hawk screech into something more unique although I think it's funnier if I just leave it... I'm undecided. I also think I need to change the old bird's cough... not sure, it could be that I hear it and immediately associate it with Hugh but it definitely takes me out of the film every time I hear it.
